boutonnieres (aka boy flowers)

boutonnieres
The boutonniere is worn on the gentleman’s left lapel. It should be worn on the outside of the buttonhole, and not in it. It is traditional to secure it in place by using a pearl-headed pin from the back of the lapel. This can be done in such a way that the pin will then be invisible from the front.

Lunch Menu

Amber and I have selected La Mediterranee in Berkeley to handle the food service. Actually, they'll just handle the food. We love the place, and most of our friends do as well. It's good food, great for a buffet cause most of it is served at room temp, and bridges the vegertarian gap well. See the "Lunch Menu" link in the sidebar.

The menu should be close to this...

Greek Olives
Feta Cheese
Pita Bread
Hummus
Garbanzo bean puree' with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and paprika.
Baba Ghanoush
Eggplant puree' with garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, salt, mint, and parsley.
Armenian Potato Salad
This is a non-mayo potato salad.
Dolmas
Grape leaves stuffed with rice, nuts, and currants.
Chicken Cilicia
Chicken chunks with almonds, chickpeas, currants, cinnamon and spices, baked in fillo dough.
Grecian Spinach and Feta
Spinach, onions, almonds and feta cheese baked in fillo dough.
Cheese Carni
An assortment of cheese, herbs and onions, baked in fillo dough.
Quiche
Mushroom and cheese with egg in a pie crust, and another with different filling yet to be decided.

For drinks we'll have...

Pink Wine
Red Wine
Beer
Hard Cider
Soft Drinks
Water
